Peter Hook And The Light have announced the bands which will be joining them on their UK tour in May / June 2012, taking the bands who have released on Hacienda Records over the past years, humanizer, Section 25, and Super White Assassin.

Salford band humanizer take the first three dates of the tour, playing Liverpool Academy Friday 25th May, Glasgow Oran Moor, Saturday 26th May, and Nottingham Rescue Rooms Sunday 27th May.

Humanizer were the first non Hooky related project to release on the label last Summer, and have been picking up the attention of numerous tastemakers and magazines including Louder Than War, Alan McGee, Clint Boon and Eddy Temple Morris. The band are presently readying a new single for this summer with other live dates are being readied to accompany this.

"Blinking like the late-night lights across the great seething cottonopolis, humanizer sound like an oozing imaginative ooze of dark technology that is oddly affecting and coolly commercial.” John Robb /

Guests at both the Sheffield Leadmill on Tues 29th May and London Islington Academy Concerts on Fri 1st  June, Section 25 have enjoyed a long and illustrious history with Factory Records and FAC 51 The Hacienda for some three decades, becoming much admired by fans of the label and the club.

Following the sad passing of lead singer Larry Cassidy, Larry’s daughter Beth has taken over on vocals with the band who released their first EP of all new material last September, the “Invicta” Ep on Hacienda Records.

Having recently played The Factory, Gullivers and The Lowry in Manchester, the London date marks a much anticipated concert for Section 25, their first in some years which sees the band run through classics S25 gear such as “Looking From A Hilltop” and new materials, both from the EP and the album they are currently preparing for LTM Recordings.

“Why can’t all pop music sound this good? Listening to ‘Colour, Movement, Sex & Violence’ reaffirmed that music has the power to enrich, the power to lift the spirit – this really does fill you with a warm rosy glow, and compels you in an almost infantile fashion to spin around on some imagined dance floor. Its pure polished ‘Factory’ dance music, swirling synths, motorik beats - glorious!" Louder Than War /

Finishing up the tour, the Hac label’s most recently released act, Super White Assassin follow on from their “Dark Teenage Fantasy” EP taking their quirky electro pop slants, to two dates on the tour, Birmingham O2 Academy on Weds 30th May and Oxford O2 Academy Sat 2nd June.

Receiving full marks reviews from Cool Manchester and All Gigs, SuperWhite Assassin’s slinky, twisted disco holds a unique and distinctive manner which delivers a resolutely modern yet classically fashioned innocence punctuated by shades of malevolence that recalls the best of Talking Heads, Cocteau Twin, Goldfrapp, Boards Of Canada and Bjork.

With well received gigs at both The Factory and The Lowry under their belt, SWA been gaining plaudits from these gigs the EP and videos from a whole host of press, promoters and pundits. The band’s live and visual reputations are gaining ground and future appearances across late Spring and Summer will be forthcoming.
