Peter Hook & The Light – Festivals Round Up – Summer 2014

Summer 2014 seems set to mark the busiest festival season yet for Peter Hook & The Light with the band booked to appear at a wide range of UK Festivals from May to September.
Hooky And The Light return to Veg Fest and The Hop Farm with the season seeing the band’s first appearances at Bestival, Camp Bestival, Primavera Sound, Festival No.6, Lounge on The Farm and Stockton Weekend, as well playing some new events.
The Light’s festival diary for 2014 begins in France at Rock N Risle on Saturday 10th May before performing at Bearded Theory in Derbyshire and Vegfest in Bristol the weekend of Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th May with a set at Farm Feast near Liverpool on the Sunday 25th May.
The Light also perform for the first time at Primavera Sound in Barcelona Thurs 29th May. performing Joy Division's "Unknown Pleasures".
Next up sees a return to The Hop Farm on Sunday 6th July before a visit to Leopardstown Racecourse in Ireland and Thurs 10th and the band round off the month playing at Stockton Weekender Sunday 27th July.
August sees the busiest month as after a trip to Italy Aug 1st for Umbria Rock Festival, the band play at Lounge On The Farm in Canterbury and Camp Bestival on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd respectively and a visit to Live At Leopardstown near Dublin on Thursday 10th and Voewood Festival In Norfolk Sat 16th Aug.
Prior to the debut “Low Life” and “Brotherhood” debut concerts in London and Manchester in September 2014, The Light round up their Summer dates, with their first visit to Festival Number 6 in Wales on Sat 6th Sept before perfoming “Unknown Pleasures” in full at Bestival Sunday 7th September
